He is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management as well as various financial certifications. His passion for the outdoors and dogs is only eclipsed by his passion for his family. He is married with two young children.

Tawney Carrier began volunteering to work with those with special needs in high school at The Arc of Tri-Cities. Since that time, she has volunteered for many non-profits doing everything from serving on the Board to serving dinner! Tawney has lived in the Tri-Cities since she started high school and considers this home. She attended CBC through the Running Start program, then went on to WSU-Pullman, WSU-Spokane, and GU where she earned her JD. She returned to the Tri-Cities and has been practicing law here ever since. Her primary areas of practice are guardianship’s, probate, estate planning and family law.

Dan has worked in Finance and Accounting for most of his business career primarily in San Antonio and Austin, Texas where he and his wife Lisa raised 2 girls, one a graduate of the Air Force Academy and the other a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.  Both girls have gone on to earn their Master degrees.  In 2014 Dan and his wife moved to the Tri Cities where Dan has worked at the Hanford site as an Accountant for MSA while counting the days until retirement.  Since leaving Texas and moving to the Tri -Cities he has volunteered for the Benton Franklin County Fair as the Home Brew Superintendent and a horse leader for TROT. 

Dan grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains which surround the Monterey Bay area where his family raised horses.  In addition to his accounting education and experience he has a degree in Animal Science and was a licensed Farrier in the state of California.

An archaeologist at Hanford. She began taking lessons and volunteering at Monterey Bay Horsemanship and Therapeutic Center (MBHTC) in California at 12 years old. At 19, she became the barn manager of MBHTC, managing between 30 – 40 horses and teaching therapeutic riding lessons. She has worked with kids and adults of all ages and abilities. In grad school, Lindsay was on the University of Idaho Varsity Women’s Polo Team, and served as their horse manager for over a year. She has an Irish Thoroughbred named Dub, and an orange tabby cat named Tubby.

Born and raised in Washington State, he has become quite the adventure seeker. Over the past several years he has gone skydiving, bungee jumping, white water rafting and zip lining with plans to do it all again. He has since taken the ultimate adventure in raising a child. Although he’s not ready for the extreme sports, they have formed quite the outdoor bond searching for bugs, birds, and mud! Professionally, Matt has been in the healthcare industry for over 8 years with a focus on Public Relations and Marketing. He has a wide variety of volunteer experience, ranging from an Orientation Leader at Eastern Washington University to be an assistant lacrosse coach in Portland, Oregon. He has love working with people of all different backgrounds and experiences and felt TROT would be an excellent opportunity to continue my professional growth.

I was raised in the Pacific Northwest and I am blessed with an awesome family. My wife Tracey, my daughter Taylor and my amazing grandson Kaden.

I have a very diverse background as a criminal deputy sheriff, many years in retail and an extensive background in Safety. I spent four years as a city council member. All of these adventures gave me great life experiences. I spent years working with United Way and spent 4 years on the Umatilla County United Way board. I spent many years as a D.A.R.E. instructor and raised over 50,000 dollars for the program. My background and leadership is in money raising. I look forward to a long relationship with the T.R.O.T board.

I have a lifelong passion for safety and helping others. I enjoy the Oregon coast, golfing and spending time with family. My amazing grandson enjoys life everyday with autism our family learns about working with autism every day.
